We are thrilled to announce that Neuroflux was recently presented at the Revolutionizing Life: Frontiers of Biotechnology Conference 2025, organised by the Harvard Undergraduate OpenBio Laboratory.

A Platform for Innovation

The conference brought together student researchers and leading experts globally to explore the latest breakthroughs in biotechnology, including the keynote speakers Dr. Omid Farokhzad and Dr. Ed Boyden.

With interactive workshops led by student groups from Stanford, Harvard, and NYU, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, it created a global forum for advancing knowledge in biotechnology. Being selected to present our research to such distinguished company was a great honor for Neuroflux and validates the importance of our work in explainable AI for neuro-oncology.

Sharing Our Vision

The Neuroflux team had the opportunity to present Neuroflux's unique approach to Glioblastoma Multiforme segmentation, emphasising how our Grad-CAM explainability features address critical trust barriers in clinical AI adoption. The presentation highlighted our exceptional metrics attained while maintaining computational efficiency and interpretability.

Engaging with the Scientific Community

The conference provided an invaluable opportunity to engage with leading minds in biotechnology and medical AI. In particular, many of the attendees were interested in:

  • Neuroflux's hybrid loss function approach combining Categorical Cross-Entropy with Dice Loss

  • The lightweight implementation that makes Neuroflux accessible in diverse clinical settings

  • Real-world applications of Grad-CAM for enhancing clinician trust and adoption

Looking Forward

The connections made at Harvard OpenBio will open new avenues for collaboration and further development of Neuroflux. The Neuroflux team excited about continuing discussions with the connections made during the conference.

Get Involved

This opportunity to present Neuroflux has energised and reinforced the team to continue improving Neuroflux's accessibility to improve brain tumor diagnosis worldwide.
