On September 14th, the Neuroflux team had the honour of pitching Neuroflux as finalists in the Fall 2025 Harvard VISION Global Health and Leadership Conference Community Project Pitch Competition, organised by the Harvard College VISION Global Health Society.

Only 15 projects were selected as finalists out of 87 global submissions, and we are humbled to share that Neuroflux was awarded 1st Place.

The Global Health and Leadership Conference (GHLC) is hosted annually by Harvard College VISION: Global Health Society as a hybrid event at Harvard University. It brings together high school students worldwide to engage with leading academics and professionals in global health through keynote lectures, panels, and workshops.

As part of the Community Project Pitch Competition, Neuroflux was presented through a 3-minute pitch video and a 5-page grant proposal outlining its holistic approach to sustainable, interpretable, and computationally efficient brain tumour diagnosis.

Neuroflux’s written proposal will be published in the annual GHLC Book alongside the other community projects, and its pitch video will also be showcased on the GHLC website. This is a key milestone in expanding visibility for Neuroflux's mission to expand access to precision oncology in underserved regions.

What This Means For Neuroflux

Winning 1st place is a proud validation of Neuroflux's potential and also provides us with critical support moving forward. As winners of the Pitch Competition, Neuroflux will exclusively receive direct guidance and resources from GHLC and Harvard-affiliated partners to further develop and deploy our model.

The Neuroflux team will to leverage this valuable opportunity and continue refining Neuroflux's technical capabilities as a lightweight, interpretable, and globally accessible AI tool for brain tumor diagnosis.

Acknowledgments

The Neuroflux team would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the Harvard College VISION Global Health Society for this opportunity, and to all mentors, reviewers, and peers who inspired us throughout the process.

We are deeply thankful for the vote of confidence from the GHLC community. This win motivates us to continue pushing Neuroflux forward and reaffirms our commitment to improving global health equity through sustainable, interpretable, and accessible AI for neuro-oncology worldwide.
